The Brawl Stars will be"BURNING DOWN THE HOUSE" this weekend as they take on Hunstville's Dixie Derby Girls! The Brawl Stars skated against Dixie last fall and though the Brawl Stars did not win the game, the Dixie Derby girls were fabulous hosts! The knowledge and time they shared with the Brawl Stars was greatly appreciated. The Mississippi Brawl Stars are working tirelessly on skills and strategies to continually improve their game. Doors open at 5:30 and the game starts at 6. Be sure to stay after they game to meet players from both teams. Bring your camera and take a photo with your favorite player or the whole team!
Special guests will be the Artesia Volunteer Fire Department and all fire fighters and EMT's get a discount at the door!
Thank you to all of the fans who braved the stormy weather to cheer for the Brawl Stars as they opened the 2012 Season. This highly competitive game gave the Brawl Stars the opportunity to show their fans just how much work they have put into their training during the holiday season. All of that hard work will definitely show as they go up against some the higher Derby South ranked teams this year. This season promises to showcase the strong teamwork skills these ladies have been focusing on.
A special thank you goes out to the Tupelo Honey derby girls. These ladies are working equally as hard to prepare for their inaugural season and graciously acted as NSO's and volunteers for this bout. Special guest Bench Coach for the Purple team was Tupelo Honey Coach Miss D. Meaner. She rose to the challenge and worked hard to help the Purple team in their victory.
Four ladies from the Tupelo Honey team also lent their talents as skaters in this bout. Special Brawl Star Hugs and Shoves to: TOTT # PH48, Chick Norris #10:13, High Frequency #111, and Glamma Slamma #1210. The Brawl Stars enjoyed hosting them and a special guest Referee, Aces Heidi from the Burn City Rollergirls.

Potential volunteers, referees, and skaters are invited to meet, skate with, and join the Mississippi Brawl Stars. All eligible participants must be 18+. No experience is required to join. No cover charge.
