The Mississippi Brawl Star's mission is to draw attention to and promote both the sport of women's flat track roller derby in the Golden Triangle area, and the power, beauty and awesomeness of women in general. We come in all shapes, sizes, colors, backgrounds and abilities and we are all strong, beautiful, smart, tough, sexy, tenacious and capable in our own ways. Roller derby has the unique ability to showcase and proudly foster all of these characteristics in us as team members, in our personal lives and in our communities, in addition to encouraging exercise, athleticism, sisterhood, competitiveness, loyalty, dedication and hard work. The sport of women's flat track roller derby serves as a vehicle for us to illustrate to all females that these qualities exist within themselves all while having a blast and entertaining fans of all ages in a unique way.
